I Breath Your Name
65
Breath you name out
Breath it back in
The darkness that I cannot control
Lives inside but wants out
In water
In earth I look at you
As earth you look at me
And we are both seen
I know it is true
But I cannot turn to
That source of comfort and joy
The darkness lives in me
And wants to come out
In water
And for all the things we said
What I wouldn't give for one
More time of hearing it the same
And angry I would be
As you would be at me
And sad is what I am
That it won't happen
Decisions must be made
But I can't make them
Things must be done
But I can't do them
So please come back
And teach me how
Please
I don't want to say
Good-bye

Whenever we express ourselves it is a good idea, Chris. ONLY you know exactly what you are expressing and the rest of us can only guess or speculate. It says different things to me...did you lose someone? Because it also says to me that the Disciples of Yeshua wanted HIM back the way they knew HIM.
My pleasure. I am learning to LOOK for the spark of our Creator in everyone and nurture it. And to see the beauty of everyone's soul.

I think this is a good and powerful poem. I like the emotional pull and longing contained in it. Nice work.
SHARING it with others.
